As shown in this (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0467.html) strip, Belkar refers to an azurite (Soon to be Daigo) as No-Name.

Earlier in the series, he refers to another generic azurite as Noname-Zaki.

Has anyone else pronounced this in a distinctly japanese dialect? As in 'No-Nah-May?'

I don't know whether or not this was Rich's intention, but regardless, I found it enjoyable. :smallbiggrin:

he dosent know there name. i dont think there's any other outside reason why he said that.

I'm well-aware. :smalltongue: The joke is that Noname (if pronounced differently) may actually sound like a japanese word, thus making it a bilingual pun.

Strangely enough, the japanese word for name (or one of them) is namae. IIRC the pronounciation is nah-mah-eh.
