Unfortuantly I can not, but is that an emu?

No, that is not an emu. Nor is it a Bosnian.

The style reminds me slightly of The Scream, which was done by Edvard Munch, IIRC.

Wasn't the Scream stolen?

*Puts a cover over a certain art piece he has in his living room*

Or did that get returned?

Also what exactly is the picture of then? And if you know the style you may be able to find it that way...

Just some abstract, creepy thing as far as I know.

The Fairy Modmother: This might get a better response over in Arts and Crafts, so there it goes!

Holy dang that *is* disturbing. Too bad I didn't visit the Munch museum in Oslo. It does look slighty 'Scream'ish.

Once again Demented's name fits so perfectly with this topic. ;)

I'm going to have bad dreams now. Thanks. Not to mention I'll always wonder what artist was twisted enough to make that picture.

It's definitely not Munch, but clearly inspired by him. And there are in fact several versions of The Scream; one was indeed stolen back in 2004.

To all people who don't know what this is: it's a HUMAN GIRL with a very long neck.

Disturbing, yes. But when you go out finding truly disturbing works of art, like me, then you will be ultimately desensitized to things like that.

You think you're desensitized? You know, there's a place where they keep the truly disturbing art--along with other things. It's called /b/.

She looks like my ex from about ten years back... (what was I thinking???)

Rivik pukes on his computer and takes his computer and pokes his eyes out. He then opens up a case, puts two new eyes in and takes out another computer.

Ew.

Yes, one of the versions of the painting was stolen; however, it was found and returned just this last week, coincidentally.

You want disturbing? You should try Giger or Goya on for size. The former does cool human-machine-animal-alien hybrid thingies (and the alien from Alien), and the latter went mad, and reflected it in his work.

edit: Found some examples.
