Yes, it just occured to me that about ten minutes ago the database back up should have started. But it sort of didn't.
Any particular reason, problem?

Given that the mods have been bragging about how the backup only takes ten minutes now, that is quite easily a possibility.

And to add insult to injury, it was only a test too, no actual backup. Was over in less than half a minute.

Rawhide, I think you're misunderstanding the mindset here. If you showed them a button with the label "Warning! Do not push! We mean it! The world will be destroyed! Really really destroyed! Do not push this button!" The paint wouldn't have time to dry before they pressed it. Of course they're going to want to see a dull screen saying "backup in progress."
