You may want to work on the phrasing of that. So basically, you want to combine the souls of an Angel and a Pit Fiend? First, what does that have to do with ultimate power? Second, how do you prevent that thing from...ceasing? Third, why? If you want Ultimate Power, become Pun-Pun.

This isn't a rules question or a general RP question - it's so subjective to your campaign that you should be asking your DM.

There's a very easy answer to your quest for ultimate power:

Be the Game Master.

You want to be a DR21+ Overpower with Epic Spellcasting . You can make and break Powers and outcast mortal spellcasters. It is a lot more fun than being the DM/GM .

In D&D *anything* is possible with sufficient mystic madness, enslaved goblins, soul-devouring devil machines, arcane architecture (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AlienGeometries) and applied rule of cool (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RuleOfCool).

Who's to say the Big Evil of your next campaign hasn't worked out how to fuse the antithetical essences of the creatures you list above to create an epic force of unbeing devoted to the destruction of the universe (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/OmnicidalManiac) (Thurizdan, or something out of "Elder Evils" perhaps).

I'm sure Gary Gygax write something similar in "Castle Greyhawk"(?). Something about harnessing the power of nine godlings to achieve personal ascension. Ah, here we go (http://www.canonfire.com/cfhtml/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=77).

Ultimate Power is becoming the Omniscificer and Pun-Pun.

Pun-Pun is also an Omniscificer; since Pun-Pun has arbitrarily high stats, he also has arbitrarily high Knowledges, so he knows everything. Omniscificer was made because he could ascend before Pun-Pun. Ever since Pun-Pun ascended on level 1 though, that became moot.

Wizard 20? Warlock 20? Warlocks are better at that devil + angel thing. Also better at not running out of spells.

No Wizards are better then Walocks at not running out of spells. Because Warlocks don't cast spells, and Wizards never run out of spells.

Warlocks are better at not running out of magic.

Are you sure you don't want Real Ultimate Power (http://www.realultimatepower.net/index4.htm)?

I thought Ultimate Power involved the Fantastic Four?

I know the abilities overlaps significantly, but you could do both of them purely for the 'been there, done that' factor. Y'know, the Omniscifier suddenly knows how to become Pun-Pun, so does it.

Shouldn't a Paladin -1 of any race be able to perform either build trick via Pazzu?

Yep. But the whole idea is that being both Pun-Pun and the Omniscificer is more 'ultimate' than doing one or the other.

Warlocks are better at not running out of magic.

Wizards are better at not running out of magic to because they never ever run out of magic, and dieing runs you out of magic, and Warlocks are a weak class and so die far more.
