Marty from SG1 (spoilers)

Does anyone know the planet Marty is from? He's the guy that was being drugged by his fellow soldiers from an alien planet that was attacked. He then went on to make worm hole x.

as far as I know they never say what exact planet.

Mah, spoiler here:

his planet is a fairly advanced, sorta planet which is decimated by the gou'ld, his fellow soldiers drug him again, recall their giant ship, and fly away, leaving him there for one final episode in season 10... I personally disliked the whole marty thing, whenever he showed his face, I know that sg1 may get a little weird...

also, their ship looks super advanced, however they were completely owned by the gou'ld, unlike earth, who is very far behind them. I thought this was weird...

I get the feeling that they weren't completely all there when they made those episodes, if you catch my drift...
