Recent posts search not working

Searching for a user's recent posts (even just the 5-post history) is leading to a long delay before returning a 500 Internal Server Error.

That's... that's it.

I too have noticed this. Its intermittent, so you should try again later.

Yay, it worked (once)! But that's one out of multiple attempts (and I'm afraid to try it to often lest that put even greater strain on the server).

Not too long ago I looked back at my full 2800+ post history, after failing to get the last 10 posts from a certain pixie... It really seems to vary by the minute...

I've also had no luck in searching for any thread older than maybe 2 months ago. Did the move screw some stuff up?

I've always had problems with this function -- and the search function, too -- now that you mention it. It's almost always slow as molasses, if it works at all. And then sometimes the ten posts it'll pop up, aren't the actual most recent ten. *gasp* I'm not referring to the space/time continuum anomoly thing with the Giant's most recent posts, either. ;) I have searched my own last ten posts before, looking for a thread, and gotten mixed in things I posted two months back. It's just plain quirky.

It took me about seven attempts to search your last 50 posts recently.. looking for clues, that you skillfully avoided leaving.

There is often trouble with it persistance is futile ..

I have trouble with the 'you' thread, in FB page 45 all the pictures disappear, avi's included, only on that page though...very odd.

Oh and Raw I love the new Rowdy Yates Avi Yeehaw.

This problem seems to have spread to profile updating.
