PM's?

I bet I asked this question already but frogot it. This is mainly to the moderators, but other people might just know the answer.

Can moderators/administrators read PM's sent to people? I was just wondering that, but I can't seem to remember getting the answer, yet I remember the question asked somewhere. :)

Unless I am faced with a memory of hallucinations, I asked got the naswer that no; moderators/admins cannot read PM's. Unless, of course, the PM is addressed to or sent from said moderator/admin.

I can, in fact, read PM's if I'm so inclined, but I'm the only one. I've verified abuses through the PM system before and issued warnings.

When I get complaints about abuse through PM. Hasn't happened much.
