It is the Instill ability of the Kensai. A 10th level kensai can transfer 10 points of his BAB and 10 points of all his saves to an ally.

Now imagine the Frenzied Berzerker being thus buffed by the Kensai...

Now imagine shapechange!

I thought it was Manipulate Form...

So at level 16 you can give up all your BAB and/or Saves in any combination as a noncaster. Then what?

That's not really a buff.

Pre-Epic, that is the best form of BAB booster in the game. It also offers the highest bonus to saves (again, pre-Epic) from a single source.

But it is far from great. I'd say the best buff in the game is Fortified Persistent Delay Death. Barring that, only Totemist Soulmelds even come close to that kind of power.

Hmm, That versus Shapechange or Superior Invisibility?

Well, I -NEVER- :smallyuk:...

a level 21 wizard is immune to all forms of damage or effects that he deems negative, or even "not positive enough." He also kills whatever he looks at, destroys its soul, and banishes its dusty remnants to the personal lair of Asmodeus. That's the best buff in the game; the end.

(although Manipulate Form works too, but since you have to use it many times I don't think you can count all the things it does as one buff)

Well, it's one of the only two ways I know to get BAB higher than 20, and the other requires an Epic Cleric using Divine Power. Extra iterative attacks has to count for something... right?

You don't get extra iterative attacks. It caps at 4, always and forever.

No, it doesn't. Epic BAB caps at 4. Normal BAB stops usually because you cannot normally get 21 levels without being epic.

If you could (Divine Power) than it would continue.

No, the Epic Level Handbook notes that the epic attack and save progression is never applied to racial hit dice, so certain monsters with more than 20 racial hit dice can have BAB of 21 or higher, and then explicitly caps iterative attacks at four no matter what your BAB is.

I like your epic guy in your siggy for one reason: RAMOS' WARD VS ANNOYING MAGIC: immunity to Antimagic Field, Disjunction, Wish, Reality Revision, Limited Wish, Bend Reality, Energy Transformation Field, Spell Engine, Vitriolic Sphere, Greater Whirlwind

Anyway, on topic: Does timestop count as a buff?

Personally I'd design that ward a bit differently now, but I had rather less experience with high epic play back then and it was also made by a different party member.

Celerity? Makes Wizards go first, always.

I just liked the name, not really the effect. I would have chosen more/different effects.

Btw your BAB is completely off.
