Check out 'Proposal Fail' at http://failblog.org/

I feel so bad for this guy, after I stopped crying from laughing so hard.

the harshness of that rejection is monumential

I feel bad. For her. He must have concluded that if he put her into an awkward enough situation that she wouldn't be able to break up with him.

Mascot pity FTW, though.

I've seen that before, never loses the funny. You know you've failed horribly when you fail in front of that many people and are being comforted by a guy in a bear suit.

Seriously, those public propositions are pretty retarted things I don't really get.

Maybe they're indeed fine when both sides know they want to be wife and husband and they both like such showing off, but when guy wasn't actually even sure...

The guy should have seen it coming IMO.

That's TERRIBLE! Hilarious, of course, but terrible. Of course, we don't know the context of that relationship, so the guy could be being unfair by pressuring her in an awkward position. Still a fail.

Oh, the hilarity!

Thank god I have too much pride to ever propose at a stadium... and I don't like sports, yay me.

That is why you never propose like that where everyone can see you...

I've also seen that before, and it does make for a funny video. I feel really sorry for the guy, but you know what? Good for the girl, not giving into public pressure and saying yes, only to say no once they went off the court like the announcer said. That took a lot of courage.

I'd be willing to bet that it was staged...

I love how she was boo'd out of the building. Because it's absolutely reprehensible not to marry any dude who asks, of course.

If I was that girl, I would have been pissed getting put on the spot like that. Good for her.

I like how the guy instantly has a beer once he's off the court. Only the first of many that night, I'm sure.

No bet. There are hundreds of links to this video on Google, and none of them report on the names of the people. Of course, the announcer says as much at 1:21.

Still, it's a hard way for a brother to get a free beer.

Well it had to happen that way, It's a marraige proposition. It is not about HER happiness but about society's. Has no one taught you that she is there for our entertainment and to make us feel better about ourselves?
Frankly I've been waiting to see something like this for years.

Yeah. I don't drink, but that would still have been my immediate reaction.

Poor guy. Poor girl. Too bad all around.

Geez, what a drag. Hillarious, though.

I couldn't see where he got it from, but I like to think the mascot was like ZOMG SYMPATHY HUG + BEER

Good catch on the announcer calling out the prank. Didn't notice that the first time.

I didn't notice it either. I was watching at work, so I had the sound turned down...

My guess is that it was staged. It was the day before Valentine's Day, and she didn't look like a sports fan.

If the guy seriously didn't know that this would turn out badly, he deserved getting shot down like that.

Wait, that was funny? :smallconfused:

I saw nothing amusing about that... it was just a "meh" video...
