Irritating Auto-format

In the In Character board I have a character who's speech, due to someone already taking green, is white with a green glow. For some reason the board formats this so it takes up multiple lines instead of one, as displayed above.


Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

I don't notice it taking up several lines...I do notice it with the period being the next line down, however...doesn't seem too irritating...

Certain formatting, such as quotes and glowing text automatically insert a carriage return before and after the formatted text. This means that for you to use glowing text, it must be on its own line.

So that's meant to happen? That's annoying. I guess I'll have to change or see if the other players can live with it.

I'm going to throw in that firefox doesnt seem to like the glow effect, all I see is white text.

that or I'm missing a setting somewhere <_<

No, glow just doesn't work in Firefox. It has been troubling, occasionally, when I start yelling at people to put their characters' speech in color and they tell me that it's sheathed in a huge purple haze.
