If you could be on a game show, which would you choose and why?

Prefferably not a luck based one. I like to rely on my own skills.

I'd like to go on Who Wants to be a Millionaire, but I'd never get through the fastest finger bit. If I could skip straight to answering questions I'd make a mint.

Deal or No Deal, because you can ultimately choose how much you walk away with.

Wheel of Fortune, only I'd send my mom or my sister and just make sure I got a goodly portion of the money.

If it had to be me, I, too, would take Deal or No Deal, and then I'd walk away with the first offer.

Deal or no deal because it seems the easiest to make money in. It is the dumbest one around but for me, the payout would be the most important thing. Who wants to be a millionare is good as well but they have that faster finger question which could prevent you for going for the million.

The other shows aren't as great. For example, in Jeopardy, you are going up against two very smart people and if you do well, you're looking at $20,000. Doing well in Millionare is usually at least $32,000 and if you do very well, you could get $128,000 or $250,000.

Probably Deal or no Deal and just walk right away. Yes, that's a really lame answer but getting some guaranteed money towards my tuition and student loans would be great.

How bout the new one Hole in the Wall or the ever uncomfortable Moment of Truth? No. Deal or no Deal is the obvious choice. Nobody's a loser only a lesser form of winner.

As others have said, Deal or No Deal, its too easy to get money as long as you go in expecting nothing more than $200,000. Once I see $180,000 or more, I'd take it.

Ninja Warrior (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubSf2ATlL4g) :smallcool:

I'd have some serious reach and strength advantages on some of the obstacles, but those guys who are 150-160 lbs can just flat-out fly.

If I went just to make money, it'd definitely be "Deal or No Deal." It's the dumbest show I've ever seen, with people GIVING UP ridiculous offers just because their greedy, but if you're smart it's basically free, easy money. I'd play long enough to make as much money as I'd need to pay off college loans and have a bit extra, or maybe one or two rounds longer if the offer was guaranteed to rise (i.e., if I eliminated a lot of low suitcases).

If I were going on a show just to beat everyone else, it'd be on "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" I don't think I've ever seen a question on there I didn't know, but somehow most of the contestants can't figure out, you know, what the primary colors are or something like that.

Alternatively, the Cash Cab, because that is a freakin' sweet game show.

I forgot Cash Cab! I'd do that just for the laughs. I'd be the guy who gets in and the lights start going, and I go "Finally! I've been taking cab rides for a week!"

Oh, definitely! I own at Cash Cab questions.

I think my favorite was the one where the three PhDs and their editor got in the cab on a 40+ block trip. They won a LOT of money.

Who wants to be a Millionaire.

But assuming I got past the fastest finger question, which is always ridiculously hard.

The banker on Deal or No Deal usually gives lowball offers for the deal. A fair deal would be the average value of the remaining boxes. If the offer is higher, the smart bet is to stop. If lower, the smart bet is to continue.

Of course, if the only remaining boxes are the $1, $5, $10, and $1,000,000 and the banker offers $200,000, I would take it even though the smart bet would be to sacrifice that $200,000 for a 25% chance at a million (5 to 1 payout with 4 to 1 odds). Now, if the banker was offering $300,000 then the smart bet would be to take the deal.
