About searching for a user's recent posts

I try to keep up on The Giant's posts, as they often offer interesting insight into the comic. However, whenever I start the "last 10 posts by" feature, something strange happens: even though more and more posta appear, the post "this is going straight to the front page", about the OOTS costumes, is always listed at the top, even though it is an old post and far more than 10 more recent posts exist. Why is this so?

Its not an old post, its from 11 years in the future!

The search feature looks by date only, so if you made any posts in the short timeframe that the board's clock was set to the far flung future of 2017, those will always appear first.

I thought rawhide was making a particularly silly joke at first and was about to tell him off... good thing I didn't post at first sight...

Thanks for the explanation. I guess we'll be seeing that post at the top for another 11 years...

I just figured it was there because The Giant said it was going right up to the first page or somesuch.
