This may be (and probably is) a stupid question:

Does the +4 to the DC of saves against non-lethal effects provided by this feat apply to things like disarming and tripping? The example given in BoED is stunning fist, however that provokes a fort-save, whereas the roll to avoid being tripped or disarmed is an opposed disarm/trip roll.

Thank you for any answers you guys are able to to give.

I don't have it on me but by what you've put up it would not apply to disarm and trip attempts, as you said it adds +4 to the save DC, and the others were checks.

I'm going from an incomplete online source here (books are at home). But the +4 applies to "spells and special abilities." The list of Special Abilities can be found here (http://www.d20srd.org/indexes/specialAbilities.htm). Things like Trip and Disarm are special attacks, not special abilities, so the bonus doesn't apply.

As FDM says, if the wording is "save DC" then it will only apply to effects that allow a save, as in, a fortitude, reflex, or will saving throw.
