Not sure if this has been "suggested" before, but here goes...

Post your favorite names from any session(either you played or DMed). Goes for rivers, mountains, towns, characters... anything that deserves being called somehow... :smallbiggrin:

That ought to help us all with inspiration, and I am sure there are some of us here that hate coming up with names(I for one). Especially during a session... and to be honest, I don't trust random name generators much... hehe.

In our kingdom's army, we have a "special unit" that has an illithid named Bob and a beholder named Steve (NPCs of course).

Must be because I've posted them in a similar thread before. I got most of them by twisting around words I associated with the character/place in question. "Izmarragdsauriv" is a combination of a corrupted root word of "emerald (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerald)" (Izmargad) and Draconic for "eye" (sauriv), for example.

...though I have no idea where I got the Aszaufvorax one. Random inhuman-names seem to come easily.

The following are dragon names entirely cobbled together from the Draconic vocabulary in Draconomicon:
