A little help please?

I'm not receiving any PMs lately. I sent myself one to see if people haven't been sending me PMs, but it turned up nothing.

Is there anything anyone can do about it?

Without knowing diddly squat about YaBB, I'd say Winged One has a pretty good guess. How many messages are in your box?

I only have 1 PM in my inbox. and Z, I didn't get your message.

I'm sure you have tried it, as I know you've had it filled up before, but if you haven't tried taking out a few messages, do so...

Alternatively, have you done anything.. interesting with your account name recently?

You mentioned your inbox. What about your outbox? Every other forum I post on, the limit is your inbox + your outbox.

Just something else obvious to look at. Otherwise, it'll take somebody smarter - like rawbear. ;)

I have 19 messages in my outbox, so I have no clue what the problem may be.

Actually, I just cleared out my out and inbox and sent myself a message and it came through, so I guess the problem is fixed.

That's good to know, too. Do you have any more insight as to why the problem occurred in the first place?

I honestly have no clue. But, after emptying my inbox and outbox, I recieved a message from myself, so I think its fixed. Hmmm, I wonder if RawBear has any insight on such a glitch?

I doubt its a glitch, you just probably had too many messages in your inbox, and the site probably does what Zherog mentioned, your max is your inbox + outbox.

While I certainly like the idea of being right ( ;) ), he mentioned he only had 19 messages in his outbox and one in his inbox. If there is a limit, I'm pretty sure it's above 20, unless things have changed recently. I know people have mentioned in the past that they had over 50 messsages.

I have 93 in my inbox now, and Frojoe at one point had what, 299? No, I went back and checked. 499.

Yep, 499. It was getting to the point where it was so laggy that it took 7 minutes to view them on a high speed connection.
