View Full Version : How long is a text line?

The rules are a little vague in some areas, and I already lost one sig because it had a script that rotated images on reload. My sig image is pretty large, though within the rules, but I'm worried text wrapping'll make it count as too big when the line underneath is added in.

A line is an infinite one-dimensional object. So, very long.

Foiled by math again! (But not for long, dogooders!)

So yeah, text line. Am I in the clear?

Your sig is well within the rules for height, even if the text would wrap. I'm not sure if it'll wrap on smaller monitors, though. You could try resizing your browser window to see what it would look like on a smaller screen.

I'm one of the biggest "anti-large sig" posters on the forums. And your sig seems completely fine to me, Astral. Even if your image were the maximum size (which it's not), you'd still have four "lines" available. And then you're using the smaller font for that text, which buys you a little more space.

I see your text as two lines. I don't know about others.

Basically, if I'm not gonna complain about your sig, you're almost certainly in the clear. :smallwink:
