For my homebrew system I'm working on, armor gives damage reduction rather than AC. Each armor gives various DR against each of the three types of damage (bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing). I need to know which armors were good against which types of blows, and how easy it was to move in each one.
I can easily make up the numbers so they fit properly with the weapon damage values, but the Internet is failing to provide me on some specific information (what's the difference between banded and splint armor in terms of what they can defend against?)
Thanks in advance to anyone who can provide me with a little bit of info.
