I have been mulling over an idea for a web comic for a while but i've hit a snag in the fact that i don't know any artists who can produce the level of quality i'm looking for in the visuals. While thinking of a way to get around this an interesting thought poped into my head: Is there any demand for web based novels? I personally have never even heard of people doing this (aside from this site) and I'm curious to see if it would be viable to create something similar to the work Amber E. Scott does for giantip but have it be the focus of a site and be updated regularly.:smallconfused:

if you have any examples of popular web based novels could you post links to them?
Or give some tips on finding a good illustrator for a web comic:smallbiggrin:

Tales of MU (http://www.talesofmu.com/).

I have never read it, but that probably shows that the author pulled the concept off somehow, since it instantly sprang to my mind.
So, seems to be doable.

Try Borders.

Alternately, save the pages to your computer and read them offline :)
