I've got a few files left over from my PC days in windows media audio format. I reaaaaaly don't want them in this format because then I can't add them to my iPod or play them in iTunes. I was wondering if anyone knows a way I can get these windows media audio (.wma) files to play in iTunes and on my iPod? I think the best method would be converting them to .mp3 or whatever iTunes uses .m4a or something.
Sadly a quick google and going to version tracker seems to not provide any help. Maybe some audio gurus can help me out here. Thanks! :smallwink:

On iTunes, click the song and then go to advanced in the toolbar and hit "Create iPod or iPhone Version." Not sure if this will work but it's worth a try.

In iTunes, you can convert wma into mp3 or aac.

This seems to not work for me. I wonder if it works in the windows version of iTunes only? Or maybe I have an old version.
