The Casino Royale theme song was better IMO. And the video dosn't look much like a James Bond Movie theme song, it looks more like a standard music video that they Bonded Up a little.

Agreed. Maybe it was just the video quality, but I could barely make out the lyrics. Also, A James Bond opening video is supposed to be about James Bond, not the people singing in the video. For alot of it I was like "Please tell me this isn't the actual video they are going to use in the movie, just a video of the song they are going to use", then at the end you saw Bond coming over the hill with a SMG and I died a little inside. Hopefully he was getting ready to shoot them for that horrible singing.

There really hasn't been a good Bond theme since Goldeneye (although Tomorrow Never Dies wasn't too bad). The trend with this one continues. I wonder when the producers will actually get someone good to sing one of these.

Chris Cornell is good, he's awesome, probably one of the best singers alive. You Know My Name was different than his work with Soundgarden and Audioslave(haven't really heard his solo work) but it was still a great song.

It just amplified the hate for me...this song sucks regardless of Jack White being in it. There are plenty of popular-ish new bands that could have done a better theme. Maybe still not good, but better.

Agreed. The title sequence will be about a third of the length and will contain silhouettes of naked woman being shot by and out of guns.

I'll reserve judgment on how it will fit into the movie. I suspect that if they do just one verse of the song and bookend it with that Bondish piano solo, it wouldn't be too distracting (or at least not as distracting as having James Bond be blond). Still, it isn't "Live and Let Die" or "Nobody Does It Better".

This song is not a James Bond song, and it would be a horrible mistake to use it in the opening of the Bond movie. It sounds like just another crappy song that I'd hear on X number of radio-stations on a bad day. Bond songs have compelling musical interludes, amazing vocal performances, and a constant undertone of danger and suspense. Maybe it's just me, but I heard none of that in this song.
