I'm currently running a 3.5 Eberron campaign and I'd like for there to be special effects based upon the phases of the moons. Each character will have been born under one of the twelve moons, and that moon governs these effects. Different effects occur based upon whether the governing moon is full, waxing, waning, new, or ascendant (the brightest phase that occurs during the entire month named for that moon). I've gotten started on this, but I need help finishing it. What I have so far can be found in the spoiler below.

You might wish to provide a link to that web article that explains the moons. I've never bothered much with them, so I can't think of anything off the top of me head.

Sounds really interesting thus far (coming from someone who knows a tiny bit about Eberron) but you gotta keep in mind some of the penalties associated with new moons seem much more... deadly than others. It seems thus far you're scaling benefits during full moon with de-buffs during new moon, but I'd recommend making them all approximately the same as far as power level goes, other wise people may try to min-max with it.
I'd also like to note I already envy your players, this is a pretty cool concept. D:

It's a cool idea, but may end up being more bookwork if you're already using the coterminous planes of Eberron.

And where the heck did you get the diameters of Eberron's moons?

Said link has it; I've seen it before, but don't have it off-hand.

That's the link. I kept thinking I left something out in that first post. Also, it was my intent for the players to roll a d12 for the month of their birth and pick a day between 1 and 28. And it's not that much bookwork, considering there's actually a downloadable tool that provides both the moon phases and the planar positioning information.
