Help me remember a gem-sacrifice spell

There's a spell somewhere which allows the caster to destroy a gem in return for party buffs. The more valuble the gem, the more significant the buffs, including damage reduction and temporary hitpoints. Problem is, I can't for the life of me remember what it's called. Does anyone else remember the spell I'm talking about?

Favorable Sacrifice, Cleric 3, Spell Compendium. Not worth it in my opinion, but if you've got cash to spare it might be useful.
