Hiya! The other day i had another idea for a comic (i tried one before, but decided to drop it) ... anyhoww, i was looking for some opinions on things like art-style or...well...anything else.

Its kind of like hairy potter meets hello kitty? Its about a city of mage/witch cats (following the main charater)...

Anyway, here are the ones i have made so far! (i still need to add text to the 2nd page... more worried about art style now... or the story in general)

I agree. The art itself is really good, and the small amount of story thats there is nice and mystical.

I like the shading, there is almost a wash paint effect to it. I presume you did it in photoshop? My only complaint is the black lines. They stick out a little too much in the pictures. How would they look with another shade? /nitpicking

The art is better than anything I could ever do, so I'm afraid I have to hate you for it. I'm sorry, and it's not like it's personal, or anything.:smallfrown:
And as far as I can tell the story is pretty cool, but you haven't exactly given us much of it.

Thanks! Ya it was in photoshop (just use a soft brush, i love drawing with those!)

The black lines do you mean the borders? or the sketchy-lines under the shading? I been playing around with different ways of shading.... and the 2nd page was just done over a sketch (instead of trying to make lineart and THEN shade under that).

Here is page 3, done with a cleaner sketch and more shading.

Awesome.

Try useing the same effect, but with colour, see if it comes out looking even better. :smalltongue:
