Just out of curiosity's sake, how many posts get onto a single page?

Are you sure? I've seen it go to a new page after 14 posts. I thought that was wierd, and wanted to see if it's just me.

it should be 15 posts per page. However, if you're looking at the listed "replies" number, that number does NOT include the original posting, so you should see the kiickover at 14 replies, but there will still be 15 posts per page. If you look at posts with no replies, you'll see it say "0" replies, but we know there's one post there :)
