Primary Casters Unite? [spoilers?]

Let's assume, for the sake of this thread, that V has or will become evil.

Given that, it seems only natural that h** course of action (thanks for the trick, Steve!) will lead h** to join forces with Xykon and Redcloak. Quest for ultimate arcane power? Why look, there's a Snarl to harness! Step right this way, friend elf!

Suddenly, all the primary caster* of OotS are on one dysfunctional team.

So... what then? Assume clerics cancel out: how would a bard, a fighter, a flying lawyer, a rogue, and a broken down ranger deal with a wizard, a sorceror, and a mystic theurge? The power imbalance boggles my mind!


*Except, of course, Durkon.

The Linear Guild are Evil, and they aren't on the same side as Xykon.

Also, despite what V has don, V says in 595 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0595.html) that V wants to resume saving the world, so V currently still wants to stop Xykon, even if it could be in an evil way.
