Since I can find no comprehensive list for how far you need to go to be something other than a mere Pixie in the Playground, I decided to make one. (I hope the Giant doesn't squash me for revealing state secrets, I don't have that kind of AC.)

Revised version:

1-50 Posts = Pixie in the Playground
51-200 Posts = Dwarf in the Playground
201-750 = Barbarian in the Playground
751-x = Ogre in the Playground
x+1-y = Unkown Lifeform in the Playground
y+1 = Custom Titles, Perhaps?

There is a fifth title beyond Ogre, but no one has reached it yet. I won't reveal it until someone gets there. Bogotter is already at 1208, though, and he doesn't have it yet.

Custom titles would be a possibility at some point significantly after that.

Wow, I've got some serious work to do if I ever want to stop dodging all the feet around here! ;D

V-Man wouldn't be happy at this Talislanta-like ban. ;)

Actually I was hoping there'd be more 'levels' as it just takes a lot to get through Dwarf and a TON to surpass Barbarian. If there was 2 or 3 more things to become, it'd help people pace themselves. :)

Neat. I think I'm close to becoming a dwarf. Be quite a while before I get any taller, though. Maybe I should write hymns to the goddesses of puddings and chocolate.

Hmm....I don't think that chart at the beginning of this thread is right....maybe barbarian starts at 250?

As I am now at 208...and still a dwarf =) edit...err I mean 209, with this post....=)

Yeah, I hit that myself. It was awkward and Rich made fun of me. Pretty much this whole table is now entirely obsolete.

Originally it was 200 but then Rich moved it back some because people were advancing too quickly.

The really bad jump is from Ogre until whatever is next. I've been working on it since 750 posts.....and after doubling that....I'm still not there!

I think it's a myth. I mean, what's humanoid that's bigger than an Ogre but smaller than a Giant? (D&D Giants are Gargantuan, right? And Ogres are Huge?)

Technically ogres are giants. :P

Anyway, ogres are large where typical (MM) giants range from large to huge.

You should have one just for us lurkers.

"Lurker Above in the Playground"

for 1&2e folk:

"Piercer in the Playground"

;D

That title already exists, but you only have it when you have less than 0 posts.

But I only have thr--uh, four posts! :-[

What about... uhh... Trapper in the playground?

Mimic?

I still think Piercer in the playground rocks!

If I'm assuming what you're implying right, not all pixies are that way. If I assumed wrong, then I'm wrong.

I'm almost a Barbarian now! Hurray!

If you're implying that my assumption has implications, then your inference has been assumed to be correct. My implication of pixie interaction had been duly expurgated by your impression of my implications, and I stand confused.

8 posts now... as lurkers go, I suck!
