The first three attacks seem wonky in execution, but I rather like this.

Although I think this monster could use a bit more firepower, as it is an epic level artillery monster. Albeit low epic.

I don't know how to fix up the wording on those first abilities, but for the firepower, do you think I should bump the dice up to d8?

i think the fists could use a combo attack.
judgement clap
primary close burst 3 lightning attack 2D8
secondary close burst 3 thunder attack 2D8
it requires both fists to be "alive" to use and the fists have to be adjacent to eachother. if one of the fists uses this power then the other fist loses its next standard action (or uses up an action point).

I really love the fists, the lion head and the golden wings but the wide and long propeller ship design seems kinda awkward.

EDIT: i think the close burst could be bigger... 5-7 or something.

EDIT2: the fists could have less HP and the Heart could have an at-will minor action power which heals/raises one fist with a range of 5 to 10 squares (boss battle feeling).

Now I know what you mean when you typed those up. Allow me to fix them, and make minor changes.


Left Fist Rocket (minor; this power recharges when Lightning Fist is destroyed.)
Warheart summons a Lightning Fist into an adjacent square.
Right Fist Rocket (minor; this power recharges when Thunder Fist is destroyed.)
Warheart summons a Thunder Fist into an adjacent square.
Rocket Punch (standard; at-will; this power may only be used if either Lightning Fist or Thunder Fist are alive; This power may not originate from the squares Warheart occupies)
+28 vs. AC; 2d6+6 damage. Treat the square Lightning Fist or Thunder Fist occupy for the purpose of making this attack.

If you're curious, I just changed the wording and allowed both Fists to be summoned with a minor action. As it stands, this Artillery is really, really weak.

I'd also suggst reading the DMG a bit closer and using your personal judgement when making the attacks, instead of following it more or less to the letter, although following the preset rules is still a good thing to do. Deviate too far and you'll end up making unkillable monstrosities.

as for balance... i find it hard to balance things on heroic level, so i can't help with those (listen to seniors :smallsmile:).

that humanoid form looks perfect.
