View Full Version : Dreamwalker in D&D?

This has bothered me for a good minute. I've always loved Dreamwalker from d20 Modern. So much so I'd like to use it in regular D&D. Its the way dream magic should work right?

But I've run into a problem: It may be a little too much. Now you may be saying "What's the big deal? It's just in dreams right?" NO. It's not just in dreams. There is another feat called Divine Touch that allows them to use all of their dream-based powers in the waking world (with a few limitations of course.) That's what gets me.

If a... fighter (I choose this class because they can't really do much in the first place) takes the right feats, he can do everything a spell-caster can do and more, which means he could over-shadow the whole group with little effort.

So should I leave that idea alone? Or try to make it work?
