Demon King dies for the last time. The 23 gathered together until one of you said. "Maybe we should catch the inspector's killers."
Once this was said mumbling could be heard from all of you. "Y'know I didn't really like him.", "I mean seriously, its day 1 of an investigation and he's already screaming. I've found the culprit."

This is Twist - one of EDKs mini-games where the roles are completely different to normal. He generally confuses everyone by saying that the rules are the same as the standard Werewolf game, but by that he means only the system of pointing (and highlighting points) and handling night actions, etc. etc.

If you've played Werewolf elsewhere you may prefer "Werewolf Classic" which is a fixed set of rules the same as the very first Werewolf game ever played on these board, or one of the "Werewolf" games, which is like "Werewolf Classic" but with slight rules variations. Originally there were just one or two rules twists, but as games go by they tend to get more3 inventive. It retains the standard "Werewolf Classic" idea though.

Then there are hundreds of variations. Many are standard Werewolf games, but set in a different environment with different role names, but they play essentially the same. Some are extremely different with the only similarity being a day/night cycle, some sort of lynch during the day, and secret actions at night.


I thought I had a theory on what the rules fo this game are, but when I started writing it down it stopped making sense.

Ah. That would be because we don't have a clue and hence there is no justification for any of the votes. I don't know about other people, but I haven't a clue what any of the roles are about or how to tell who might be what because I'm not even sure what what is, so hence I have no idea at all who to point at, so all my points are random. Hence they have no justification, so I don't write any reason for voting. I imagine that most other people are in the same boat, and the one's who do know what is happening are probably the ones we have to lynch (the bad guys) and so have to pretend not to have a clue.

I hope that some of that made sense.

Mafia is the most common wolf equivalent, and the last Twist game's villains were the mafia, and the first post implies that the mafia are the villains in this game, so I'm going to guess that Emperor Demonking is trying to confuse us and they're really the masons. :smallbiggrin:

lamech approached me as a baner. He claims to have protected me, but I'm not too convinced. However he then (with his last PM as allowed by EDK - if anyone else got one then lamech has been cheating) admitted to have been lying. Well obviously it was after his death when I already knew he had been lying, but he also said that the Mafia were the good guys in this game.

So now, I think we need to work out whether the mafia or the baners are the bad guys, and who they are.

lamech said some other stuff too, and like I said I know who one of the mafia is. I just need to work out whether they are the good guys or the bad guys. Seeing copies of PMs might help.

To clarify an earlier post, it transpires that it is possible that lamech may have BCCed other people with the PM he sent to me. One PM, as allowed by EDK, but multiple recipients, each unaware of the others.

Whether this constitutes multiple PMs is for EDK to decide, and I'm not even sure if lamech actually did specify multiple recipients. In any case it wasn't that important a PM.

1. Lamech lied, died, and sent A PM to Jontom.
2. I made a failed attempt at humor.
3. My joke set off Jontom's paranoia, and he made an accusation against me.
4. Jontom died. probably because he is one of the best players in this game, but, if the killers sent their attacks in late, they may have also thought they could set me up for todays lynch.
5. People started voting for me, and Istari said something which set off other people's paranoia.
6. People started voting for Istari.
7. I realized that the only way for me to survive today is to lynch Istari.
8. Istari are currently tied at 4 votes each.

Neither of the bandwagons have any reasoning behind them other than paranoia.

I argued with him because he was accusing me just because I made a joke. While we're on this subject, however, how about we take a look at something else Jontom Xire has said in a different game.


Whichever is the case (like I'm going to tell you) it proves I'm a good guy, so can the seer and fool and masons please contact me so we can form a network.




I was attacked for the same reason Freshmeat and Evnafets were attacked nights 1 and 2 in Werewolf Classic.

Invariably when I am attacked after pointing at someone(s) or making a suspect list it is because the people I suspected were innocent. The wolves try to cast additional suspicion on them. See Werewolf classic again where as long as I was making loud noises about Murska I was safe, as soon as I shifted my points elsewhere I got killed.


It's funny but convenient that no matter how many times you point out logic liek this the wolves always act the same. Mind you I am always ready for wolves to try to bluff me.

No the last survivor was a mason. Like the PM of mine that got posted, (way back on post 118) said we mafia were masons that could bane a target everynight. At the end of the game the two remaining night killers targeted each other. Making Kaboose the only remaining survivor.

Hence, a auto-lynchee beat two night killers. Town and mafia win.
