Hi,

I was curious as to what is the maximum speed you can attain when playing dnd. Heres what I know so far...

30ft base movement (30ft)

Boots of Swiftness +30ft movement (60ft)
Quick +10ft movement (70ft)
Run x5 movement (70 x 5 = 350ft per round)

Spells. Longstrider and Expeditious Retreat +10 and +30 respectively.
Do these spells stack?
Also fast movement from monk or barbarian.

Any further Ideas or is this as far as it goes?

Even in core only, a centaur barbarian with horseshoes of speed has a base of 90 feet, 450 feet per round with the run feat.

Take 5 levels of druid and then take the Cheetah Sprint feat from CWarrior. You spend a WS to get 10x movement on a run...

Horse shoes of speed only work on animals, so no dice.

Nope, both are an enhancement bonus to speed;they overlap since longstrider lasts all adventuring day (after around level 7).

Just get your maximum speed to 775. Then make the appropriate Knowledge and Craft checks to build a flux capacitor. Then proceed to kill all your enemies during their infancies.

Yeah, either answer isn't really ironclad, depends on your DM I suppose...

Every single time someone makes this post, I get beat to the punch on that joke. ...Stupid internet not working for 36 hours...

yes but where will you come up with the 1.2 gigawatts of energy required to power the flux capacitor?

Magic. If that fails, more magic.
