...And I happened upon this video here. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SipKBYRMpuc) It's a video of the marching band I'm in taking place in a band festival not too long ago. Please view and, hopefully, enjoy.

I managed to hit youtube when they are doing maintenance!:smallannoyed:

So I will have an opinion when I can finally view it.
Otherwise, in high school, the only reason I went to football games was to see the marching band. So I am looking forward to seeing the video.

So depending on the level of "personal" you are comfy with, which are you or what do you play?

I'm the Drum Major, one of the guy's conducting in case you don't know, who's not dressed as Indiana Jones.

YouTube wont load videos for me right now, so i couldn't watch yours.

here's my school's band performing though, if you wanna check it out. We took 2nd place in the 2A state championships today.

Pride of Pendleton Marching Band. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgsi7AwCW1M) the show is called "Things that go POP"

before anyone asks, I'm not in band. However, 3 ex's, my current girlfriend, and most of my best friends are.

While we're posting youtube links, here's mine-

Allen Eagle Escadrille Rose Bowl '05. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvAm9XW16Zc&feature=related)

I was a sophomore at the time and over in the other half of the football field (not shown much) playing trombone.

Part 1 is the commentator shooting off facts about the band.
Part 2 has our traditional show which we use before we have our concert show learned well enough to do it.

The first few minutes of Part 3 are color guard.

Part 4 is continuation of the concert show.

Also thoroughly enjoyed the shows posted so far, post some more already! :smalltongue:

Ah, marching band. I never got into band, but my sister did and I always liked watching. Of course, in the Midwest at least marching band is a huge sport and my high school used to be the best in the state...until my sister's freshman year they started dropping in the ranking (mostly because the band director never chose good songs), but the marching band always did better than the football team. I'd say about half the people in the school who got their letters got it through marching band rather than football or baseball or what have you.
