Computer Program Trouble... Thing

I recently installed OpenRPG (as in, today), and then a few minutes ago my computer decided it had no idea how to run it. Windows asked me to choose which program to open it with and I accidentally clicked 'Adobe Acrobat' with the little box checked 'always open with this program'. Now OpenRPG wont run and frankly I have no idea how to fix it.

I came here first because... well, I'm not really sure how I would search for any answer to this problem. How do I tell my computer to not run this program as an adobe document? I'm running windows xp and I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling OpenRPG, but not acrobat.

Yes, I do have both installed. It worked fine for me earlier.

Sounds like the start of your trouble is the file extension on whatever you installed.

Two things you need to do:

1) In any explorer window go to tools -> folder options -> view tab -> untick hide file extensions.

2) Identify the file extension of the file you just reassigned and then go to the file types tab and delete the entry for that extension. That SHOULD get you back where you were.

Post the file extension and perhaps we can shed some light.
