Why Isn't Roy More Surprised? [OtOoPC's spoilers]

Roy has seen a lot of things. Like Nale posing as Elan.

Or a Sapphire Guard Paladin nearly chop her lord in half over a misunderstanding, plus the nefarious plotting of the Nobility in a good aligned city. Or Shojo for that matter.

Really, why would a conflict between members of a Thieves Guild be that surprising to him? It is a Thieves guild after all, all that really matters is that they are attacking.

She also told him she was the best archer in the world, after blatantly asking him how many ranks he had in Sense Motive.

Her telling him it's a forgery, along with how obvious it was even before she told him, was a joke. Roy wouldn't have hired her if he'd known she wasn't in good standing with the Guild.

Actually, he said "Rogue's Guild." Though, as Haely is a redhead, she may be eligible to join a Rouge's Guild as well.

It's just for the sake of the joke, at any rate. Lots of things are! Tsukiko SHOULD be able to see the big secret door with the bright symbol plastered on it. Roy's companion in OtOoPCs SHOULD concievably be able to eventually realize after 50-odd corrections that his name is not 'Ray.' I could go on and on. You can't take this comic very seriously. :smalltongue:

Could be something Giant overlooked, or the more probable, is that Roy has linked 2 and 2 together and figured out that something is up between Haley and the Thieve's Guild
