At first when i looked at thegraphics i thought it had horrible gameplay, horrible monster and etc. But after i tried it out, I was like WOAH! It's much better than your expectations from the graphics. It is a RPG game, 3d style... i am trying to say it is like World of Warcraft, but it has specific game features of its own.

Resemblance to WoW:

Auction House - This game has an auction house and banking similar to World of Warcraft. In fact, just looking at the screenshots on this page shows that the game bears a strong resemblance to WoW. Talisman Online incorporates some of WoW's better ideas to make the game more player-friendly.

Combat - Combat is intuitive and borrows from World of Warcraft in several ways. It is an essential part, as with any MMO, of accomplishing your goals as a player. In order to build up your equipment and increase your talisman powers, you need to hunt monsters for points. The more points you have, the better your equipment upgrades can be.

Specific game features:

Talisman - The talisman is a special tool for strengthen character's power. It has many different skills. Talismans can be enhanced to obtain higher level skills.

Quest - Talisman Online have large number of quests. Also interesting part of the gameplay are the scenarios. A scenario is a specific quest for obtaining rare and valuable talismans and equipment, that takes place in an independent scene, separated from the other areas, unique for each player or party.

Overall, with the resemblance to WoW and the aforementioned features, Talisman Online could eventually develop into one of the better free MMORPGs. So, take a look at it at http://www.talismanonline.com/ (http://www.clickaudit.com/goto/?136618)

Are you paid to advertise for them or something, or is this actually a personal opinion?

While I'm almost certainly not going to play it (MMORPGs are not my cup of tea), is this somehow related to the old Talisman board game (by Games Workshop, if I'm not mistaken)? My, that was the other thing (besides the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings) that drew me into fantasy, back when I was six...

Ah, Talisman (the board game)! I remember that

I believe Games Workshop is resurrecting Talisman, or rather one of their sub-company things. At least, at Games Day last year, I saw new, larger, Talisman boards on display. I don't know what happened to that, though, or if they're still making it.

Judging by the screenshots of this, though... I don't remember there being any leopards in the board game, so I judge it unlikely.

To the OP: surely it is a poor way to promote a game by labelling it as a WoW clone? Generally that's a derogatory term, implying a severe lack of orginality.

It's because everything's a WoW Clone. D&D 4e: WoW clone. Age of Conan: WoW Clone. Maplestory: WoW Clone. Diablo III: WoW Clone. M:TG: WoW Clone. Monopoly: WoW Clone. Candyland: WoW Clone. Democratic Process: WoW Clone. I mean Obama had to grind for months to out-DPS McCain in the PVP arena.

WoW's just a clone of other things itself, in terms of how it works, it just happens to be the most immensely popular one. It's probably not the worst business plan to admit your sources so people will know what to expect, since very few MMOs try legitimately new things (No, not even, say, WAR)

GW/Black Industries dropped that franchise and sold it to Fantasy Flight Games.Their revised 4th Edition is coming out in December, I believe.

^ what jamroar said. GW did release it's own 4th edition in 2007 (which is what you probably saw) but sold it to Fantasy Flight earlier this year who are releasing a revised 4th edition.
