Bard+Acolyte of the Skin=Lordi

Ithink I may need to DM a game where I pit the pcs against Lordi inspired fiendish/half-fiend/Acolyte of the Skinish bards (one or the other or some combination of possibilities. Not terribly optimized BBEGs. But LORDI!!!!

That's actually a REALLY cool idea. I love Lordi (I didn't really like Dark Floors, though), and I think you could probably come up with a cool set of BBEGs based on them, even if you DON'T use the Bard class.

-Mr. Lordi - some sort of Outsider with the (Evil) subtype, or maybe just a Monstrous Humanoid
-OX - a Monstrous Humanoid with super-strength
-Kita - An Aberration with a crazy bite attack
-Amen - definitely a Mummy, not sure about what else
-Awa - A vampire-type Undead with the ability to become incorporeal at-will


(Also, since you mentioned just starting Dark Floors, do you have any of their albums? If not, you should definitely check out "The Arockalypse" and then maybe "Get Heavy" or "Monsterican Dream." I think they have a new album out, but I haven't checked it out yet, so I don't know if it's as good or not.)

So yeah, the movie? not so hot. It was pretty good, until the very end. They really didn't handle the wrap up very well. I could see what they were trying for, but they fell waaaaay short.

Hmmm. Mr Lordi might go well with Half-fiend, since that would net him some cloak-y wing-y things for flying about.

Amen might do well as a dry-lich (or whatever they're called from sandstorm)
