I have been think about places outside of the Order of the Stick world where certain characters would like to visit. Anyone else have ideas?

Durkon:

Agart from Final Fantasy IV - people of dwarven lineage
Dwarven homelands of Final Fantasy IV

Vaarsuvius:

Mysidia from Final Fantasy
The moon from Final Fantasy IV - learn arcane secrets from the locals

Belkar:

The world of Team Fortress 2 - "massive killing spree? Sign me up!"
Roman Colosseum
The Colosseum from Final Fantasy VI

Monster in the Darkness:

Disney Land - child at heart
Disney World - see Disney Land

Haley:

Goldar's castle from Final Fantasy III - lots of gold to steal

Redcloak:

The land of Azeroth- Goblins get better treatment there. I think...

Tsukiko:

Same as place as Redcloak, but for the undead.

Well, the people of Azeroth do love their trade goods and travel.

Tsukiko:

Same as place as Redcloak, but for the undead.

Hope she's open to the idea of cannibalism. :smallamused:

V should fit right in with the blood elven mages, no doubt.

Pretty sure you can put Belkar into any place/event that involves massive amounts of widespread killing, no matter the cost to his body. Ex: Roman Coliseum, Mordor (it'd actually fit in, but who cares), Battle of the Dark Portal, etc.

yes but in the case of Troy he'd be the only person needed inside the wooden horse.

I was under the impression that Belkar and the Scout from TF2 were the same person.

What? No. He's every class except Medic and Sniper.

He's got the Soldier's Bloodthirst, the Pyro's battle rage, the Scout's manuverability, the Heavy's hair trigger (and body count), the Demoman's craziness, and the Spy's sneakiness and penchant for knives.

Belkar as an Achaean? It is to laugh. He'd much rather be a Trojan. Besides, if he had been ion the Greek side, he'd have ended up stabbing Odysseus out of boredom. "Ten years? Ten Years and all you can come up with is a stupid horse trick?"

ETA:
Besides, Isolder specified "Troy --- The Illiad" The story of the Horse is not mentioned in the Illiad. It's related, long after the fact, in Book IV of the Odyssey. Yet another little know useless factoid!

No, no; Belkar is a Spartan. :belkar:

"Ok , you've got one hobbit guarding Thermopylae against the whole Persian army?"
"We told him we'd send him to Sodom afterwards as a reward"
"Oh, those poor Persian b@$#@%ds..."

Elan would love to visit the Castle Anthrax ( Monty Python & the Holy Grail)...at least pre-Haley Elan.
"I'm a Bard! This is my kind of peril!":elan:

The Dead City(or whatever it's called)--Lord of the Rings

I think you mean Minas Morgul - where the Witchking and his eight pals hang out.

Another place of interest would be Dol Guldur. Its a castle in the south end of Mirkwood, run by someone called "The Necromancer".

No I mean the place with the Army of Ghosts.

Same place they where there because their leader where (or maybe they lived there before it was a "death" city and is bound to it I can't remember)

No I mean the place with the Army of Ghosts.

As far as I recall the city had no name in the book, but the system of caverns the Oathbreakers dwelt in was called Paths of the Dead. Sometimes the placed is referred to as Dwimorberg, the name of the mountain under which the paths of the Dead was located.

Other places the OotS would want to visit:

Haley: Scrooge McDucks money bin

Vaarsuvius: Magica De Spell's house (on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius)

What about the engineer?
Belkar has been the medic once (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0058.html) and he could be the sniper if he did these three things while killing (http://store.steampowered.com/app/5051/)

Be polite
Be efficient
Have a plan to kill everyone you meet
