Redcloak's entire village was massacred while he was young. He and his brother barely escaped. The rest of his family died. Redcloak then spent a lifetime working for the plan, meeting Xykon along the way. While Xykon was fighting Dorukon, Redcloak killed his own brother to prevent Xykon from being killed. Redcloak has nothing but the plan. He has sacrificed everything else. There is no ray of sunshine in his life - the closest he's come to happiness is the grim satisfaction he achieved from avenging his family's massacre.

It's one thing to want to crusade for goblin equality as the cold, calculating, uber-powerful high cleric of a goblin deity, but you can't take the good and leave the bad. Redcloak is both a tragic figure and seriously ****ed up. Everyone he has ever loved has either died or been sacrificed to a plan that he isn't even sure will work. Are you seriously wishing such a life upon yourself?

Character I would want to be- Tough to stay...Probably one of the primary spellcasters, but they all have something that turns me off: Xykon does not wear shoes, Vaarsuvius barred conjuration, Eugene is a jerk (without being as powerful as Xykon), Pompey is asymmetrical, Durkon is a [probably] smelly dwarf, Julia is...not nice...Maybe Leeky...I also considered Nale and Lee since they both get to "work with" Sabine. :smallwink:
