Hi everyone,

This (http://www.digi-vu.co.uk/books/11/dvbook/DVPHOTOBOOK/) is something myself and a friend of mine have been building. Its an online photo portfolio we have collaborated on. I am building the book and he is providing the pictures. We wondered what you all thought.

Thank you for taking a minute to have a look. Any comments would be most welcome

I've just got a green page with buttons(?) at the bottom that don't work...

Why thank you. Orginally i built it as on online document viewer but i am trying to move it in other directions. I thought a photo album kinda thing would be cool.

Thanks for taking a look.

Thats a little odd. Which web browser are you using? Could I maybe even trouble you for a screen shot?

...It seems to have fixed itself after refreshing a few times. Probably my Flashblock addon for Firefox.

Nevermind. =) Looks funky.

Those are fantastic. Everything about it is great, including the pairing and layout.

Also like some of the comments.

14 thumbs up!

Nifty!
That is pretty freaking awesome.
(Wish I could offer more constructive advice than that... I don't know too much about photography)

Beautiful. Simply stunning.

Flipping pages is fun with my tablet.

VERY not bad

One nitpick - correct the horizon to horizontal (pardon the pun) on "Stormy Beauty" and make the church on page 4 slightly less HDR-y, the sky looks unnatural.

I love the rest

Thank you to everyone,

I am glad so many people like it. It's not the finished article but its nice to hear some feedback. I shall post a new link when its done. I have had a few ideas and suggestions from various people which I would be foolish not to act upon.

Once again thank you all so much.

I love photography.

Nitpick nitpick...

On the page with Towers in Fog, the descenders on the y and the g in the main titles are cut off (presumably by the textbox underneath them).

Why yes, I am a professional pedant editor. :smalltongue:

I'm having some trouble viewing it in IE. What I can see is gorgeous.

Once again, thanks for all reviews.

I have posted a link to this album on a few other forums and I have been getting feedback that the book is not rendering correctly on non-wide screen monitors.

I was wondering if anybody could report on what size their monitor is and if the pages in the book are clipped when the book is open. My rig is dual 27" widescreen monitors and everything looks ok, even when i halve the browser window to 27".

Thank you for all the input, its been very helpful

P.S I was ninjad earlier, thus the double post :)

O mai.

One problem. When we double click to zoom - how do we zoom out again?

If we were not a clone, we would be gushing over the beauty of these pictures.

Double click again. Perhaps I should make it clearer
