I wish people would use the search (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93173) feature (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48039)...

I wish people would use the search feature...

yes....?
there was no reference of the comic on the main page, so i made a new post for it.

Some webcomics are discussed daily and their threads stay on top. Others are discussed infrequently so their threads fall down. If people aren't willing to search for a previous thread and bump it, all the past discussion is lost.

My opinion is that it's better to have one thread with thirty posts than thirty threads with one post. Hence: "I wish people would use the search feature."

and my oppinion is, "if the old post is dead i might as well make a new one."

i can see valid arguments on both sides - on one hand, using the search feature reduces thread spam, but on the other hand, there's a reason the old thread fell away due to disuse. Perhaps the conversation went to a place that was no longer attractive to continue.

However, usually forums will have their own policies on thread necromancy versus thread spam.

This Forum seems to prefer spam to necromancy, provided that you don't spam when things are on the first page.

On point, Ps238 is a nice comic. I like Nodwick, and this is good stuff too. It's a "superhero school" print comic that is posted on the Internet, so it updates regularly Tu, Th, Sat (technically, it's a MWF comic, but it usually updates very late in the day).

what i like about is that the humor is in layers like OoTS, there are the main jokes that gets me laughing, like when we is first Introduced to Dr. Bryce Benner and his son, and then there are the thing i usualy notice when i read it the second time, like when Revenant is apperently sitting playing City of Heroes.

Nodwick is kind of 2 dimensional for my tastes. I get the feeling it's just more "marketed" than p238, which is why i like it so much better.
