You are accepting as truth something that comes out of Belkar's mouth?

Even if you accept that Belkar wasn't making it up (later strips hint that he
wasn't), that doesn't suggest that V would be making things up.

I'm pretty sure V was just trying to come up with more sobstories so he could make scrolls.

I dunno though, I'm not going to completely deny that there is any possibility V did drugs. I mean, it's possible. S/he IS an elf, after all, and additionally, a number of magical systems involve using drugs.

In OoPCs, V grew up as an apprentice to a wizard. S/he never did drugs.
