View Full Version : Bleach D&D-3.5 Hollow and Arrancar Races/Classes

This thread is for my friend who wants some review on his ideas for an original D&D world combined with some aspects of the bleach world. He has the Soul Reaper(Shinigami) class and possible race almost complete which will possibly show up on this thread but might end up on a different one.he also has some specifications he needs to show me so this thread will be getting updated soon.



Hollow-Race
Stat bonus or penalty none
Special abilities-Feat: hollow skin, scent of soul, Creature of Death**
“Zanpakuto” cause +1 damage
Automatically are proficient with hand to hand (includes Claws, Teeth, or feet)
Hollow cannot use weapons other than claws, teeth, or feet. *
Ability: “consume soul”
Characters who become Hollow or choose to be Hollow MUST take the class “Hollow”


*Hollow who have Int score of 15 or higher may wield Melee weapons

[str requirements for weapon, and weapon proficiency still apply.]

(Exceptions are listed within hollow class)

**”Creature of death” is referred to in ‘Shared special Feats and abilities’

Feats;

Hollow Skin – [Hollow and Arrancar race/class only] causes non-magical weapons to cause *D2 damage instead of normal.

[Spells do normal damage, as do magical weapons]

(Hollow claws & teeth are the only exception to this rule)

*The number of dice that where going to be used are still applied.

Scent of soul- [Hollow and Arrancar race/class only] Acts as a skill similar to “listen”. This allows a hollow to feel the power of another creature* based on wis scores and whether or not the character [or the person using it] is in battle. ** ***

* A character with 9 or less wis can only be felt at 15 or less feet away [50 feet if engaged in battle ] (5 if self is engaged)
* Wis score of 10 – 15 can be felt from 30 feet or less [70 if in battle] (10 if self is engaged)
* Wis score of 16+ can be felt from 50 feet or less [100 is engaged in battle] (15 if self is in battle)

*Although it is based on wis score the DM does not tell them how far they are, what the wis score is, or how powerful the character/ creature actually is. However they do tell them IF they feel the person, and in what direction, also if their location changes, or they move out of range.

**This skill also works through walls, doors, and floors.

***This ability only works on one target at a time.


Ability:

Consume soul – [Hollow and Arrancar*** Race/class only] The “ability” to eat another Hollow, a normal character, or even a Shinigami’s soul. This ability does not do Damage to the opponent, and can only be used on freshly dead enemies/characters (2), or ones who fell unconscious and would’ve automatically died if you or something else had attacked them*. This ability sucks out the soul of the character and gives a stat boost to a single stat. Hollow or shinigami of the same level or stronger add a .1 to the stat, normal characters, including special characters [explained under “spiritual power” feat ] only add a .01.**

*The DM may allow this ability to be an “auto kill” to very, VERY, weak enemies with a reasonable percent chance of success, and a will power save.

**To keep this ability from getting out of hand, the DM may set limitations on how many souls a Hollow may consume in a set period of time.

***Arrancar can no longer consume the souls of normal characters, the energy they may receive is too small to make a difference (1) however consuming of normal Hollows and low level Shinigami will now add .01 and Arrancar will add .1

(1)You are still able to consume the soul of the character ((that is if you want to be a Jerk and force some people who do not want to become Hollow to become them))

(2)There is no “freshly dead” for Hollow because they disintegrate when they die and become spirits in soul society, so hollow can only be consumed alive or unconscious.

Notes:

HD: at level one 3D4, every level after is 1D4 per level.

Skill points: 3D4 +int

Attack: Claws/Teeth/feet*; 1D4

*only one may be used per turn.

Description:

Hollow are corrupt lost souls that wander Limbo [both the normal world and their own] consuming the souls of the living and dead, generally their height can range from 2 – 12 feet. Menos Grande however are all 32 feet or in that general area. Menos are black shade-like blobs with a white circular mask with a long pointy nose, two small black eyes, and a neutral looking show of teeth, They are the weakest of all hollow and have little to no intelligence. Menos Grande are the enlarged version of Menos, they, although being second weakest, Tower above all hollow with their height, in this stage hollow learn their traditional attack called a “cero”, a large buildup of energy in the form of a beam, released from the mouth. After Menos Grande comes Adjuchas, in this state Hollow shrink to a ‘regular’ size and undertake an appearance of a white and black humanoid-like lizard, bug, or animal, they also become more intelligent, can speak with each other and other beings. Adjuchas also learn “air walk” ability with allows them to be mobile in mid-air. The evolution after are “Vasto Lorde” the strongest Hollow class. These big guys generally look like a larger, more “buffed up” version of their Adjuchas form but at the same time look more humanoid, their intelligence equals that of normal people if not better, granting them the ability to plan and think better than any of their lesser hollow, not only that but they also are able to command all other hollow especially Menos and Menos Grande who Obey whoever is strongest.

Feats;

Arrancar Skin – Because an Arrancar is a Hollow that has removed it’s mask and thus achieved powers similar to Shinigami, their strength increases and their bodies become more tolerant of damage, even from Zanpakuto. AC + 2


Notes;

Incomplete Arrancar – If Menos and Menos Grande Successfully transform into Arrancar then they become “incomplete Arrancar”. Incomplete Arrancar must go through four “training levels” of which they receive all skills they would have originally if they had made it to Vasto Lorde.

Arrancar can command any Hollow below them like henchmen, (Menos – Vasto Lorde) Although Vasto Lorde have a 60% chance of resisting command.

Side Note:

Arrancar still have the consume soul ability, for more information look at consume soul under the hollow race.

-The Arrancar transformation % under the “Hollow class” tells how much of a percent Hollow have of becoming an Arrancar. If The Character fails at becoming one they are put into “Spiritually weakened” state, of which all of their stat modifiers equal -3 and they are Always Flatfooted, This state lasts five days in game time. The next transformation attempt is the day after the fifth day of weakening.

Description;

Arrancar are the strongest version of hollow. Through a very hard process a Hollow Rips off their mask and gains power similar to Shinigami. Their features revert to what they looked like when they were alive, or at least close, and a fraction of their mask is left over on their body or face. A hole is located somewhere on their body.
