Has anyone read the new Astonishing X-men comics? I read up to the annual, and I heard they're changing creative teams and starting new storylines. Is it any good though?

What I want to know is when they are going to run out of adjectives.

I dislike the new artist enough to not even give the writing a chance. I loved the Wheadon/Cassiday run, but alas, it is over now.

Again, seriously hate the new art, but Your Mileage May Vary.

Well they haven't done Insignificant X-Men or Explicit X-Men yet. :smalltongue:

I only follow the graphic novels so I've read up to Astonishing X-Men volume 4. It ended with Shadowcat being stuck in that bullet.

The art and writer switch after that.

Which caused a drop. I mean, I like Warren Ellis's writing fine, but the new art is way too murky for my tastes.

I think I'll just wait for the trade to come out at Barnes and Noble then.
