And I noticed a wand of ray of enfeeblement heighten to 4th level, so what high wizard made that. I mean heighten a spell that has no save just increases the price for no reason. And the bonus between 6th and 7 caster level is the same aside 5% more chance to beat someone's Spell Resistance. However if that was the case it would be very difficult to do so with a wand anyway.

It's no doubt a holdover from 3.0, when ray of enfeeblement was "fortitude negates".

Well, I don't know about the Heightening, but increasing the caster level IS actually useful - +1 CL means an extra full minute of Str penalty, plus an extra 5 feet of range (which is, admittedly, NOT as important).

Depends if you're the one selling it, I guess :smallsmile: I can see the flyers in the wizards' guild shop now: "NOW WITH HEIGHTENED POWER!"
