I love the Onion. It falters now and again but it always manages to maintain such great wit and unlike other satirical new sources it manages to balance out a wide range of humor so it doesn't get too overbearing.

Anyone else enjoy it?

I haven't seen the movie yet but I'll have to pick it up at some point.

I love the Onion! I even subscribe to it. I just love finding a spanking new issue in the mail every week.

Yeah, I like the Onion a lot. "Our Dumb Century" is one of the best works of humor ever written.

Darn it, you just had to post a Youtube link, didn't you. The main site videos didn't work for me, so now I have to spend the next hour watching them. :smalltongue:

My favourite article of all time?

Loved Ones Recall Local Man's Cowardly Battle with Cancer. (http://www.theonion.com/content/node/29585)

"Russ did not go quietly, that's for sure," said longtime friend Bobby Dwyer. "He did a tremendous amount of screaming." :smalltongue:

I like The Onion as well. The videos of the Onion News Network are often very funny.

I read, watch and listen to it daily. It's absolutely fantastic. I've even linked to it a few days ago.

I love the Onion. I pick it up every week and I read it online.

This is definitely one of my favorite stories, though. (http://www.theonion.com/content/node/28032)

Has anyone read much Our Dumb World? I'm not going to start here, but there are some hilarious things there.

I saw the add for it. It looked hilarious.

Oh, and I meant the online part. Never read the book.

(The online part's free, btw. Anyone who likes offensive, tongue in cheek humor should check it out.)

I read that years ago and seek it anew.

The Onion is good, but they used to be much better.

It's too obvious to see a news headline and pick out if it's an onion article or not nowadays.

I think the video segments have improved a lot, though.

Our Dumb World is perhaps my single favorite written work of comedy. I mean, the sheer amount of stuff they put in it is amazing, and it is one of the few things that can consistently crack me up.

A caption to one of the pictures:
"An Algerian terrorist practices his agility, footwork, and exploding skills."

I think if that were true, I would feel a lot better about the world.

Clinton Deploys Vowels to Bosnia. (http://ifaq.wap.org/society/voweldeployment.html)

My first memory of The Onion. Anyway, there's an Onion newsstand thing right by my school, so I pick it up fairly often.

I really like The Onion. I find that the humor can be a bit hit or miss for me, but I'm almost always chuckling as I read it.

One of my favorite parts is the Horoscope (http://www.theonion.com/content/topics/Horoscopes). (Link is archive of all of them.)

I need to write that piece I thought up. Does anyone know if they would accept a submission?

Argh! The Onion is one of those dreadfully funny websites that keeps me from getting any work done.

I'll probably pick up a copy of the book when I get a chance.
