Guardian Spirit: At level one you forge a special bond with a specific spirit, and he or she aids you in dire times. You may choose one type of spirit at level one:

Arthain, Spirit of Perseverance: You gain one additional Healing Surge. You require ¼ less rest every day (e.g. a human would only require 6 hours, an elf would require 3)

This class is based on barbarian. I based it, fluff-wise, on the giants "champion" base class. Looking back on it, it is very similar to Shaman King (See picture at the top) I have other ideas for spirit based classes (Leader:Shaman, Controller:Spirit Wizard), however I want to make a full progression, 1-29 and at least one paragon path.

Croissant?

Yes, please.

And now that the poorly crafted, generic joke is over, we shall move on to my comment!

I'm a pretty newbie player, so I have no insight into balance and such but I must say that I do like the flavour and I would actually like to give this class a try. Definitely interesting.
