Is it possible to get a chance of more than 15-20? I seem to recall someone saying something about an exotic material that doubled crit chance and stacked with the feat.

well, the Nimblewright comes with it built in: 12/20.

In the 3.5 update they returned it to 15-20, though...

I don't know about a material, but I know that a class feature of the Disciple of Dispater PrC (BoVD) does just that!

sensible fix then.

Kaorti can boost the multiplier to x4, but they're pretty careful to make it so no changes to the range stacks with Keen. I think 3rd party books are the only ones that do.

The only out-and-out 3.5 ability that increases crit range on top of Keen/Imp. Crit is the streetfighter barbarian variant in Cityscape. At 7th level, on any charge or on any foe that is flat-footed, increases crit range by 1.

Disciple of Dispater increases your crit range by 2, and says it stacks with Keen/Imp. Crit. From BoVD, I think it's technically a 3.0 PrC, but still legal for 3.5 (hasn't been fixed/updated with errata).

Orc Blademaster (also 3.0, Dragon #299) has something that increases the crit range on a bastard sword by 1.

Kaorti version of a weapon increases the crit multiplier to x4. Requires EWP.

Heavy Weapons (Magic of Faerun, p. 179 I think) are also worth a look... increases the damage of a 1d8 weapon to 2d6.

Mythic Exemplar from Complete Champion can get you to 14-20.

There's a Luck feat that lets you treat a Natural 1 as a 20.

That basically gets you (mathematically the same as) 13-20. Best I can think of without 3.0.

Well there is the psychic weapon master found here

http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040827d

Which can get +2 threat range for its chosen weapon.

The Weapons Master from the 3.0 source Sword and Fist gets Improved Critical, or if they already have it they get an additional +2. I do know that if you seriously cheese the right weapon out, you can get a crit range of 9-20.

Weapons Master from S&F has been superceded by the 3.5 Exotic Weapons Master. Check the WotC site for a complete list of 3.0 material updated in 3.5:

The Psychic Weapon Master is also 3.0, but is still in that nebulous grey area between editions. It hasn't officially been replaced by the Exotic Weapon Master, so could still be considered legal for a 3.5 game.

The psychic weapons master appears to have been revised for use with the Expanded Psionics Handbook in this article

http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040827a

which leads to the

Psychic Weapon Master
Prestige Class (v.3.5)

found at this link I posted above
