Any Giantitper's out there currently playing this game? I'm looking to hook up with someone trustworthy online so I can get my nookway upgraded, swap some oranges for whatever fruit you have, and maybe sell some turnips. :smallbiggrin:

Even if you don't play anymore but wouldn't mind helping me out that's cool too.

Also if you just want to discuss the game feel free to do it here. I personally was amazed at the complexity of the game and how it tends to eat up your free time (in a good way).

I haven't been able to play Animal Crossing, much, ever since I found out the Terrible Secret. But, still, I could help you out. Just as soon as I get through the tutorial, since for some reason my old town disappeared. Oh well. Not much lost, since it'd have been abandoned for several years.

I have wild world, and have one question: does the wii version have connectivity to the ds version of ac? I could look it up, but I'am lazy >.>

another question: when I try to grow coconuts, they don't grow I see the little sapling, but it withers and dies. the trees have alot of room, and I water them. am I missing someting?

First you need to connect your ds to a wifi network. You can do this from the main ds screen. Once you have done so you can talk to the guard dog on the right and get your friend code.

Ok first turn your DS on, now select AC, now do not enter your town! On the first menu go to "Other things" from there you will see wifi settings.

Select start then press the big blue button. Select any open connection and it should start searching for a signal. Once you got it hooked up to your wi fi just go through the test until it secures connection.

And wa-la you should be ready to go. Then just add the codes and town names to your friends list in-game and talk to the right side dog to get your friend code.

I know. I can't look at the game the same way anymore...
The "anti-box ending" was especially creepy.

On a side note: I'am kinda dissapointed with city folk. The city doesn't have alot of cool stuff, and because of the virtual console, there isn't any nifty nes emulator built in.

Not a terrable game, but still, kinda dissapointing.
