It rises from the center of the chasm, a wondrous and terrible sight to behold. Its eyes burn with a hatred for all that live, and from its maw belches forth some manner of abyssal flame. It is immense, a sphere, one whose width is that of ten men laid across their backs, its monstrous face angled downward toward the tiny beings arrayed before it. As it rises into the air with surprising grace, it is not unlike a new moon against the night sky, which is now stained red by the eerie glow of this creature. Its mouth peels back into a wide grin that could destroy a man's faith in all creation. What's more, it speaks...

Aura of Despair (Su):
"I am Sinistar!" - All opponents within 300 feet of the Sinistar suffer a -8 penalty on saves versus fear.

Deflector Grid (Su):
"Beware, I live!" - The Sinistar is equipped with a deflector that distorts one’s ability to strike the Sinistar. All attacks against the Sinistar suffer a 50% miss chance, and the Sinistar is granted a +10 deflection bonus to AC.

Frightful Presence (Su):
As the dragon ability of the same name. The Sinistar's fear aura extends out to 300 feet.

Immunity to Magic (Ex):
The Sinistar is immune to any spell or spell-like ability that would allow spell resistance.

Improved Grab:
"Run! Coward!" - When the Sinistar hits and deals damage with its slam attack, it may attempt to start a grapple against the struck target as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity (no touch attack is necessary).

Jaws of Death (Ex):
"I hunger." - If the Sinistar begins its turn grappled with one or more opponents, it may take a standard action to make a grapple check against one of the opponents it is currently grappling, as long as the target is not of a size category larger than the Sinistar. If the check succeeds, the target is instantly slain (nonliving targets are destroyed).

Sinister Taunt:
"Run! Run! Run!" - The Sinistar may attempt to demoralize an opponent as a swift action, rather than a standard one. Any foe demoralized by the Sinistar is Frightened rather than Shaken.

Warrior Ship Barrage
"Beware! Coward!" - The Sinistar is constantly surrounded by tiny defenders who constantly attempt to ward off opponents. No matter how many of these are destroyed, they seem to replenish themselves as needed. They allow the Sinistar to make 5 ranged touch attacks per round as a free action, at a maximum range of 50 feet. On every successful hit, the target takes 2d4+2 force damage, and must make a DC 18 will save or be stunned for one round (the save DC is charisma-based). These attacks continue so long as the Sinistar has not been destroyed.
