(This is my first time entering in a contest, so feel free to point out any important mistakes.)

Calm waves broke softly against the side of Courtia's Bounty as she danced across the sea. The two masted caravel had set sail for the town of Dragon's Port to collect some of the fabled Dragonheart opals that had given the town its name, reputation, and most of its trade. A week it had been since they set sail on the journey, and they had encountered little more touble than the warm, soft, rain.

Avarel, up in the crow's nest shouted "Land ahoy!", for off in the distance was the cape, and around the other side, Dragon's Port. Scurrying about like ants gathering food, the sailors rushed about to loosen the sails, for their entrance to port. Suddenly, the ship groaned, shuddered, and began to spin in the water. sailors screamed as an icy mist filled accompanied by driving sleet appeared around the mainmast, and the slipped off the tilting deck.

Rising out of the water, the sahuagin Shiel-Kah chanted words of power, and a towering pillar of fire rose to engulf the fore castle, while frightened crewmen scrambled to avoid it. A dark shape raced across the water and then rammed into the hull, shaking the entire ship. Grinning with pleasure, trident-bearing Sahuagin dispatched floundering sailors, while some clambered up the hull. Chaos broke upon the deck as the sailors tried to comprehend the situation, but by then, it was too late. Grinning with delight, Shiel-Kah swam forth to join her kin the feast.

Shiel-Kah (four-armed sahuagin drd 7) is the captain of Sekolah's Wrath, an animated dragon turtle skeleton. Sailing with an elite crew of sahuagin, coupled with the fact that in can attack a ship from below, Sekolah's Wrath is a formidable ship indeed.

Shiel-Kah is a ferocious sahuagin from the city of Sekorum’s Folly to plunder the ships of the surface dwellers. Blessed by the council of high priests from their town, he was given Sekolah’ Coral Sanctuary, a potent minor artifact used to carry arround Sekolah’s Wrath’s elite crew. Tried and true, this handpicked and loyal crew has been well tested and survived the many perils it faced. Due to skilled crewmen, an animate ship, and the element of surprise, Sekolah’s Wrath is a highly successful pirate ship.

Shiel-Kah’s Booty

Sekolah’s Coral Sanctuary: This Minor Artifact is a pink coral ring roughly one foot in diameter. When grasped and the command word is uttered, all Sahuagin in contact with it are transported to a small pocket dimension. Inside this dimension is a small salt water coral reef, approximately 100 feet across, with a large supply of tropical fish. Natural healing occurs at twice its normal rate, and 4 hours of sleep is needed, instead of the normal eight. Once inside, a second command word brings one out of it and back to the material plane.Strong conjuration (teleportaion and creation); CL 18th; weight 2 lb.
