As another prime example of how I have too much time on my hands, I've taken to pondering the various nicknames our stick-figure heroes and villains have acquired over the years. Or, more to the point, what nicknames they might deserve from us, the readers.
We all know about :haley: as the Red Blur and Dark Mistress Shadowgale, and a few others, and of course there's the :belkar: Sexy Shoeless God of War. Mr. Scruffy has been dubbed the Scruffinator IIRC. :vaarsuvius: has been called V, V-man, and 'It's Pat', and though :roy: may not use it, he was technically the 'meat-shield'. My train of thought runs along the lines of- what nicknames would YOU give to the OotS and Team Evil?
I only think of this because the events of strip #611 inspired the name of 'Buzzsaw Bitterleaf', for quite obvious reasons. Hmm. Let's see... given the late Miko's tendency to run her mouth and preach her own skewed philosophies, I'd almost be tempted to call her Motormouth Miyazaki... though, it is much more satisfying to call her Psycho Bitch Miko, IMHO.
I'd almost be tempted to take Redcloak and Xykon, and start calling them Abbot and Costello(:redcloak: as Abbot the straight man, and :xykon: as Costello the buffoon).
Obviously most of these are spur-of-the-moment nicknames, some of them not very good, but I just thought I'd get the ball rolling. So... what do YOU think would be a suitable assortment of monikers?
(Oh, and I fully expect a few O-Chul fans to dub him 'Chuck Norris' or 'Iron Man' or something similarly apropos, judging from the O-Chul fandom I've seen so far. :smalltongue:)
